Configuring Windows 10 Mail

To setup a new account, first click on the Settings Icon.

The settings will then appear on the right hand side, click on Accounts.

To add a new account click on Add Account.

To properly setup the account choose Advanced Setup.

The account type we'll be setting up is an Internet Email account.

Below you can see the proper settings. Once the information is entered, click Sign-in to add the account.

Incoming & Outgoing Settings

IMAP (Incoming)
Server: imap.pacific.net
mail.pacific.net
Port: 993 (TLS/SSL enabled)
143 (STARTTLS enabled)
Username: user@pacific.net
Password: Email address password
POP3 (Incoming)
Server: pop3.pacific.net
mail.pacific.net
Port: 995 (TLS/SSL enabled)
110 (STARTTLS enabled)
Username: user@pacific.net
Password: Email address password
SMTP (Outgoing)
Server: smtp.pacific.net
Do not use mail.pacific.net!
Port: 587 (STARTTLS enabled)
Username: user@pacific.net
Password: Email address password

Authentication is always required.

Usernames are case-sensitive and should be lowercase.
