** Accelerated Dialup lines do not increase connection speed, they increase web page loading time by compressing data between you and the server. This reduces the amount of data that has to be transferred and so speeds up your session. Typical speed-up is 2x to 10x, but varies depending on the type of content on the web pages. Text and Images compress very well, but some content may not benefit from compression.
