Configuring Entourage

Once you have your mail program open, depending on your version, follow one of the below steps.

  • Version 10.1 (left): In the upper left, click Tools, then Accounts.
  • Version 11.1 (right): Click Mail, then Account Settings….

In the Accounts window, under the Mail tab, select your account and click the Edit button.

Below are the settings you'll want to match for using mail with Pacific Internet.

Incoming and Outgoing Settings

Click on the Click here for advanced receiving options button to view proper settings for incoming mail.

Server: imap.pacific.net
mail.pacific.net
Port: 993 (TLS/SSL enabled)
143 (STARTTLS enabled)
Username: user@pacific.net
Password: Email address password
POP3 (Incoming)
Server: pop3.pacific.net
mail.pacific.net
Port: 995 (TLS/SSL enabled)
110 (STARTTLS enabled)
Username: user@pacific.net
Password: Email address password
SMTP (Outgoing)
Server: smtp.pacific.net
Do not use mail.pacific.net!
Port: 587 (STARTTLS enabled)
Username: user@pacific.net
Password: Email address password

Authentication is always required.

Usernames are case-sensitive and should be lowercase.
